We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Hourly Wage: $21.50-$25.90 (D.O.Q)
All applicants MUST:
• Have a minimum of 16 qualifying semester credits or CDA certification to qualify as a Teacher under MN Rule 3.
• Be able to work full-time (about 40 hours/week).
• Have a passion for working with children!
*Previous childcare experience is preferred but not required.

I am happily married with 3 children, all in which whom have attended New Horizon Academy. I first began at New Horizon Academy through an internship program. I ended up really loving the job and returned for full employment as the Kitchen Manager. With having prior experience with children, I eventually decided to move my skills into the classroom. I obtained my CDA and decided to further advance my career by becoming an Assistant Director.

Our St. Paul early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our St. Paul school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy St. Paul (Rice Street), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
