We offer childcare and education for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarten and school-age children. Our previous before-and-after-school-care program for school-agers at Madison Elementary is now hosted at the Pella New Horizon Academy! Our daycare curriculum focuses on all aspects of early childhood education, from reading and STEAM to social-emotional learning, physical development, and more! At New Horizon Academy Pella, we help young children become confident learners who are prepared for kindergarten and beyond. I live in Elk River with my fiancé, Dave, and son, Jack. We go up to our cabin on Mille Lacs Lake every weekend. We love to go boating, fishing, and hang out at the cabin. When we are not up north, I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends.

My name is Lexi, and I am the assistant director of our Corcoran location. I have the privilege of not only being a part of our Corcoran school family, but also being a parent whose child attends this school. Previously, I was an infant teacher at one of our surrounding schools for 5 years before going on to attain my degree in Early Childhood Education. This spring I had the opportunity to help open up our Corcoran location and truly have loved every minute of this new journey.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Pella, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
Our Pella school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.
