We are so excited to be building a second New Horizon Academy location in Meridian, Idaho! Conveniently located off South Meridian Road and Victory Road, our brand-new school will serve families in Meridian and surrounding areas with quality childcare, preschool, and early learning programs. Experienced teachers will lead children ages 6 weeks to 5 years through a research-based curriculum incorporating STEAM, literacy, social-emotional learning, motor development, school readiness skills, and more. We are carefully designing and constructing our daycare classrooms to ensure children’s safety and nurture a love for learning. Our school is scheduled to open in fall 2024. While our newest Meridian location is under construction, families are invited to tour our existing Meridian location or one of our other five daycare centers in the Boise area. Be sure to check back for the latest details of our grand opening!
Awards and Accolades
I live in Elk River with my fiancé, Dave, and son, Jack. We go up to our cabin on Mille Lacs Lake every weekend. We love to go boating, fishing, and hang out at the cabin. When we are not up north, I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends.

My name is Lexi, and I am the assistant director of our Corcoran location. I have the privilege of not only being a part of our Corcoran school family, but also being a parent whose child attends this school. Previously, I was an infant teacher at one of our surrounding schools for 5 years before going on to attain my degree in Early Childhood Education. This spring I had the opportunity to help open up our Corcoran location and truly have loved every minute of this new journey.

Yes! We welcome child care assistance programs such as Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) and Child Care Aware of America (CCAA). Through these government aid programs, families can access scholarships and financial support to make childcare tuition more affordable.
Our Meridian early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Meridian school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Meridian, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
