Thank you for considering the Eagan, Minnesota New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located off Interstate 35E and Yankee Doodle Road on Federal Drive. Our school has been serving Eagan, East Bloomington, West St. Paul and Inver Grove Heights families since 1990 and offers infant, toddler, preschool, pre-k, before and after school care, and summer camp learning programs. Our Eagan daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, focusing on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. I started at New Horizon Academy as an infant teacher in 2014 and have been the school director since 2021. My husband and I live in Rosemount with our 3 children. I am a big MN sports fan and I have also coached some of my kids’ sports teams. I truly love working with kids and watching them grow.

I have been with New Horizon Academy since 2016. I started off as a preschool teacher and now have moved into the office! I love being able to create relationships with families and children.

I love building relationships with the children and getting to see them grow and learn new things. I love seeing their faces light up once they have completed something they have been trying at for awhile.

Our school has many long term teachers who have been here for 4 or more years. We feel like a family since we have worked together for a long time. We are also 4-star parent aware rated!

Yes! We welcome Child Care Assistance (CCAP), which often covers up to 100% of New Horizon Academy’s tuition for eligible families. Through this government aid program, families can access scholarships and financial support to make childcare tuition more affordable.
Our Eagan early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Eagan school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Eagan (Yankee Doodle), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
