Thank you for considering the Blaine New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located in Blaine, Minnesota off Radisson Road and 109th Avenue. Our school has been serving Blaine, Circle Pines, Ham Lake, and surrounding area families since 2006, and has two infant rooms, two toddler rooms, and four preschool and pre-kindergarten rooms. Our Blaine daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. I am married and have four children ages 9-18 and three fur children. I have been in the early childhood field since 2007. I love watching my kids compete in their activities they are passionate about. I enjoy hiking and exploring outdoors, anything Taylor Swift related, reading, and playing with all the dogs I meet!

I love seeing the way young children look at the world, building strong bonds with the children and their families, and being part of a special group of people who want to make a positive impact on children’s lives.
What makes your school unique?
Our school has an incredible director and lots of long-term teachers who love what they do. Our teachers are trained in Conscious Discipline, as our school is a lab school for the social-emotional learning curriculum. We also have so many educators who have been named “Teacher of Distinction” and/or “Educator of Excellence”. And last but not least, we have incredible kids and families who have become a part of our school family.

Our Blaine early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Blaine school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Blaine, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
