New Horizon Academy is coming to Rosemount, Minnesota! As a nationally recognized childcare provider with 100+ locations, we are excited to bring our high-quality daycare, preschool, and early education programs to families in Rosemount, Apple Valley, Farmington, Coates, and other surrounding areas. Children ages 6 weeks to 5 years will be guided by skilled teachers using a comprehensive curriculum that includes social-emotional learning, STEAM, reading, motor development, school readiness skills, and more. Our classrooms are being thoughtfully designed and constructed to prioritize safety and foster a love for learning. While our new Rosemount school is under construction, you are welcome to schedule a tour at any of the 60+ nearby locations in the Twin Cities area. Stay tuned for the latest updates on our grand opening! We are conveniently located off 150th St and County Road 3 and are currently scheduled to open in winter 2025.
Awards and Accolades
I live in Rosemount and have two kids that have both grown up attending New Horizon Academy. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Winona State University, and I have spent my career working at New Horizon Academy first as a preschool teacher, then as an assistant director, and now as a director. In my free time I enjoy gardening, house projects, and spending time with friends and family!

What do you like about early childhood?
I love that we build the foundation for each child’s journey forward into school!
What makes your school unique?
I love that our center is very neighborhood based. The children and families are able to walk and bike to school on nice days! They are also able to meet other families that live nearby and have the opportunity to build relationships that will continue into elementary school and beyond.

I enjoy watching children learn and develop new skills. It’s so rewarding when they are excited to show you a new skill they have mastered. I love to see them so proud of themselves.

Our Aurora early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Aurora school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Aurora, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
