I live in Rogers with my husband and our two girls. In my spare time, I like to hang out with my family. We love to watch movies, play board games, and go outside. When we are not at work or home, we are at the dance studio watching our girls dance! I love working with and being around children. They bring me so much joy!

What do you like about early childhood?
What I like most about early childhood is seeing little minds learn and grow. I love hearing children’s stories throughout the day and watching them have those “aha” moments.
What makes your school unique?
At Plymouth Peony, our school is filled with long-term and devoted staff who are like family. When you walk into our center, you feel a family atmosphere. Our teachers are here to provide the best care for your little ones! One thing that Peony is known for is their fall Parent Event: BYOP (Bring Your Own Pumpkin). The families get excited to bring their own pumpkins and carve them with their children and other families.

I have always had a passion for teaching children. I just love watching them learn and grow! I am from a small town but was excited to move to the twin cities. I live in Golden Valley with my husband, Kyle, our beautiful daughter, Annabelle, and our 3 fur babies! I love to read, bake, and go on walks.

New Horizon Academy – Peony is an exceptional childcare center. We actually had our daughter registered at a different center, but it didn’t feel right. Then, when we toured New Horizon Academy, it felt right. The staff are so warm, kind, and fun. They genuinely care about our daughter. It’s so fun to chat with her teachers during drop-off and pick-up. They are personable and approachable, they share updates in the app throughout the day, and they plan really exciting themes for the kids. Our daughter has learned so much, made many friends, and improved her self-help skills. We are so impressed with the growth she has made in such a short time. The decision to send our daughter “out into the world” was very nerve-wracking, but when she’s at NHA we know we don’t have to worry. We cannot recommend New Horizon Academy enough.
This New Horizon Academy is hands down one of the best daycares we’ve been to. We’ve moved a lot and have tried different daycares, but this one is top-notch. The teachers really care about and love our daughter, even when she’s having her tough days. She loves going to school and we can tell that she loves her teachers. When we had to move again for work, it was really hard saying goodbye. The teachers even made her a really meaningful goodbye gift that made me tear up. New Horizon Academy – Plymouth Peony will always have a special spot in our hearts.
New Horizon Academy – Peony has been an incredible place for our infant daughter, and we feel so fortunate to have found it. From the very start, her teachers took the time to learn what makes her unique and have cared for her with such tenderness, attentiveness, and love. It’s clear they see her as an individual, not just one of many, and that has meant the world to us as first-time parents. The entire staff clearly loves what they do, and their passion shines through in every interaction. New Horizon Academy has truly become a second home for our daughter, and we are so grateful.
New Horizon Academy Peony Lane in Plymouth is not only the greatest daycare, but they have become an extension of our family. This center is not just a daycare where my kids spend their days, but it is a community, and their staff invest not only in the kids, but the families as well. Every teacher has so much care, love, and patience for these kids, and they all put in so much time and effort to develop and shape these kids with ways of learning that I would have never been able to dream up!
