Awards and Accolades
I live in Minneapolis with my husband, children, and our cat. I enjoy reading, going to concerts, and spending time with my family when I am not at the center. I stumbled upon New Horizon Academy after graduating from Winona State University and was quickly deemed an NHA lifer. I started out as a preschool teacher in Champlin and moved into a management position here at Laurel Village in 2022.

What do you like about early childhood?
Early childhood is the time where we are able to help children grow the building blocks that will help them throughout their lives be successful people in whatever they choose to do.
What makes your school unique?
We are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and are also in the process of becoming accredited by the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation. We have a newer team of teachers that allows us to embrace new changes and become a productive school family.
