Thank you for considering the Erie, Colorado New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located in the Vista Ridge neighborhood of Erie, off East Baseline Road and I-25. Our school has been serving Erie, Lafayette, Westminster, Broomfield, and surrounding area families since 2022, and offers programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarteners. Our Erie daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. I live in Elk River with my fiancé, Dave, and son, Jack. We go up to our cabin on Mille Lacs Lake every weekend. We love to go boating, fishing, and hang out at the cabin. When we are not up north, I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends.

My name is Lexi, and I am the assistant director of our Corcoran location. I have the privilege of not only being a part of our Corcoran school family, but also being a parent whose child attends this school. Previously, I was an infant teacher at one of our surrounding schools for 5 years before going on to attain my degree in Early Childhood Education. This spring I had the opportunity to help open up our Corcoran location and truly have loved every minute of this new journey.

Our Erie early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Erie school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Erie, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
