I have been at New Horizon Academy Eden Prairie Dell Road since we opened 10 years ago. I live in Chaska and have a daughter who attended New Horizon Academy as a school-ager. I also have 3 grandkids who I enjoy watching learn and grow.

As the oldest of 10 grandchildren, I have always loved watching and helping children grow! I have been with the New Horizon Academy family for almost 10 years, and am excited to step into the role of Assistant Director here at Eden Prairie Dell Road, where I have been working almost since the center opened. I love our school family and am looking forward to continuing to help our center grow and thrive.

Our Eden Prairie early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Eden Prairie school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Eden Prairie (Dell Road), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.

We can’t say enough great things about New Horizon Academy Dell Road…it’s been our home away from home for our 3 children for so many years! It is a top notch facility with a welcoming and nurturing environment. They possess quality, caring educators that our children built strong bonds with. As busy parents that work full-time, the fact that they are always open during every weather pattern that Minnesota has to offer, provided a level of reliability and dependability that was unmatched. The school is extremely clean and the teachers and staff are very well organized! I can’t say enough about the ease of transition and the awesome management staff and teachers. Everyone is very friendly and greets you at drop-off time each day. The amount that my son is learning at 21 months is really amazing and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll!
Our granddaughter attended New Horizon Academy from the time she was an infant until she started kindergarten. She was both safe and happy at NHA on Dell Road…exactly what a grandparent is looking for. As a retired Security Executive, I was always impressed by the manner in which the building was secured, as well as how the staff monitored the children’s activities both inside and outside the facility.
