Our Eagan daycare opened in 1990, is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and holds a four-star rating from Minnesota Parent Aware. Our Eagan childcare center offers daycare and early learning programs for infants and toddlers, and preschool and pre-kindergarten programs that prepare children for kindergarten and life beyond! All of our childcare classrooms utilize an age-appropriate curriculum that incorporates reading, STEAM, social-emotional learning, and more. With nearly 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I am very passionate about the impact educators have on our community. I’ve been in a leadership role for almost six years and truly believe that the learning environments and care we provide shape a child’s educational journey. I grew up in Edina and now live in Apple Valley with my husband, two children, and our puppy. We love traveling as a family and playing board games together.

Our Eagan early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
Our Eagan school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Eagan (Lexington), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.
