Thank you for considering the Boise – Emerald Street New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located off West Emerald Street in Boise, Idaho, on The Salvation Army Boise Corps campus. We are proud to partner with The Salvation Army to provide parenting teens in their School Program with access to quality childcare and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We've been serving Boise area families since 2019, providing our services to both the public and program participants. Our Boise daycare center is accredited by NAEYC and offers early learning programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarteners. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. In addition to our welcoming classrooms, our school also features an outdoor classroom that allows children to engage with nature and further enrich their learning experiences. Our Boise early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Boise (Emerald Street), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children.
