Throughout the day, you will receive updates through a mobile app which allows our teachers to send messages, photos and videos with updates on your child’s day. You are also welcome to use it to send your child’s teacher a message.

Our kids love going to school every day! The curriculum New Horizon Academy uses has helped our kids learn age-appropriate skills and challenges them (our prekindergartner loves to boast that he knows more Spanish than I do!). It’s going to be very hard moving on when our kids start elementary school, knowing how deeply they’ve connected with all the amazing teachers and directors!
We have had a great pre-k experience at New Horizon Academy! Our daughter loves her teachers, and they apply a better curriculum than most other places we have looked into, including school-district-run pre-k. There is a great mix of fundamentals we can build on at home. We talk to lots of friends about their preschools and nothing has convinced me that our daughter could be better served elsewhere.

While both preschool and pre-K programs help prepare children for kindergarten, the main difference between the programs is the age of the children.
Typically, children will transition from the toddler classroom into the preschool classroom. Then, they will move into the prekindergarten classroom when they reach the final year before they enter kindergarten.
