We have been serving Maple Grove children and families since 2015. With beautiful classrooms, highly trained teachers, rigorous health and safety procedures, and national accreditations, we know your family will feel right at home at New Horizon Academy! Our Maple Grove early childhood center has two infant rooms, an infant-toddler transition room, two toddler rooms, two preschool rooms, and one pre-kindergarten room. We use a research-based daycare curriculum that includes STEAM, reading, social-emotional learning, and more – all with the goal of preparing young children for kindergarten and beyond! I live in Maple Grove with my husband and 4 children. In my spare time, I like to practice photography and journal. My favorite thing to do is travel – I’ve been to 48 states and 20 countries.

What do you like about early childhood?
I love watching the children learn and grow into their own personalities. I also love when they come and give me hugs on their way home.
What makes your school unique?
Our center is full of many long-term teachers that have chosen to be early educators. We have 3 teachers that have recieved the Educator of Excellence award as well as teachers with 4-year teaching degrees. One of the kids’ favorite parts of our center is our “mascot”, Tator the bunny.

I have worked in childcare for over 5 years and have loved making connections with all the children and being able to be there for them throughout their development. In my free time, I enjoy going up to the cabin during the summer time, going on new adventures with friends, and traveling.

Our Maple Grove early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Maple Grove (Parkway) school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Maple Grove (Parkway), we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.

Our 15-month-old loves his daycare! He reaches out for his teachers and even wanders back into class when I pick him up. He is so happy and content in the toddler classroom, and we know he is learning a lot. Thank you for making our family’s first 8 months of daycare a breeze!
I am so impressed with the care this location has been proving to our infant daughter. The directors are awesome, and the teachers are all so sweet, engaging, send tons of updates throughout the day, and truly care for the kids.
I knew instantly that this was our childcare center as soon as I walked in. The cleanliness is outstanding, the staff is always at their best, and I know my kids are very well taken care of. My kids come home and show off what they have been learning and get excited to be dropped off every day.
