Thank you for considering the Meridian New Horizon Academy! We are conveniently located off Meridian Road and Fairview Avenue in Meridian, Idaho. Our school has been serving Meridian and the Boise area families since 1995 and has one infant room, two toddler rooms, two two-year-old rooms, one preschool room, one pre-kindergarten room, one school-age room, as well as an outdoor classroom. Our Meridian daycare center is accredited by NAEYC, the gold standard in daycare accreditation, and holds a six-star rating through Idaho Stars. All New Horizon Academy childcare classrooms utilize a comprehensive early learning curriculum, with a focus on STEAM, reading, social-emotional development, and more. Yes! We welcome child care assistance programs such as Idaho Child Care Program (ICCP) and Child Care Aware of America (CCAA). Through these government aid programs, families can access scholarships and financial support to make childcare tuition more affordable.
Our Meridian early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Meridian school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Meridian, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.

Yes! We recently added an outdoor classroom certified through Nature Explore. This unique space gives children the chance to play, explore, and learn through hands-on, open-ended experiences in nature.

We LOVE the New Horizon Academy in Meridian! Our daughter has been to many daycares in her short life and this has been the best by far! There is an app where your child’s teacher will send you multiple pictures throughout the day. They record how many times your child’s diaper was checked and changed, they inform you when your child begins and ends their nap, and they update you on what your child is eating at meal/snack times and how much they ate. I cannot say enough good things about this fantastic daycare. 10/10 would recommend!
This is one of the most well-run daycares in the Treasure Valley. The staff here are very professional and caring. I recommend anyone in need of childcare to start at New Horizon Academy.

When we started at New Horizon Academy, we were super nervous about transitioning to a daycare setting, but the staff here quickly made it easy and enjoyable.
