Our before- and after-school program provides a happy, club-like atmosphere where children are offered enriched learning opportunities in a fun and engaging environment. The rhythm of the program takes into account each school-age child’s desire to form lasting friendships, explore theme-related topics of interest, gain confidence in their independence skills, and experience a balance of learning and fun.
Throughout the day, you will receive updates through a mobile app which allows our teachers to send messages, photos and videos with updates on your child’s day. You are also welcome to use it to send your child’s teacher a message.
I can’t say enough great things about this childcare center! My daughter has made great friends with several of the other children in her school-age classroom and she has thoroughly enjoyed the field trips in the summer. The teachers and directors always have fun activities planned to keep the children engaged and learning throughout the day. They are also very respectful and form incredible relationships with the children that they take care of.
My daughter attended the after school program at New Horizon Academy. It was SO convenient for us that they offer this program because it allowed us to have one pick-up location for all of our children. The teachers were great, and she loved the change of scenery from her elementary school’s program.

Yes! New Horizon Academy is open five days a week and closes only for nine legal holidays each year. This means families can count on us for care when elementary schools are closed for longer periods such as fall, winter, spring, and summer breaks, teacher workshop days, and more.

Our school-age classrooms are screen-free, meaning we don’t promote the use of smartphones, tablets, computers, or video games. Instead, we focus on hands-on activities and creative play to encourage exploration, imagination, and critical thinking.
