Our brand-new school in Crystal, Minnesota is now open for enrollment! Since opening in November 2024, our dedicated teachers and early childhood professionals have been committed to providing high-quality daycare and preschool programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We are conveniently located off West Broadway and Bass Lake Road, primarily serving families in Crystal, Robbinsdale, New Hope, North Minneapolis, and surrounding areas. Each of our childcare programs is designed to nurture and prepare children for kindergarten, by using a comprehensive curriculum that incorporates STEAM, reading, social-emotional learning, motor development, and more. We are actively pursuing NAEYC accreditation, which requires a minimum of one year in operation. In the meantime, our school is committed to ensuring that our infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-k programs align with the highest standards of quality and care. I started as a school-age teacher back in May 2016. I am the oldest one out of 5 brothers and 2 sisters. In my free time, I enjoy playing competitive sports, especially basketball, football and pickleball.

Our Crystal early childhood center is open Monday-Friday every day with the exception of nine holidays:
*On Christmas Eve, New Horizon Academy closes at 3:00 p.m.
*If one of these holidays falls on a weekend, it will be observed on either Friday or Monday.
*Our school will remain open during inclement weather to ensure children still have access to quality childcare.
Our Crystal school offers both full-time and part-time schedules to accommodate the different needs of our families.

Yes! At New Horizon Academy Crystal, we have an on-site cook trained in nutrition, USDA guidelines, and proper portions for young children. Our school provides nutritious and nourishing meals every day including breakfast, lunch, and snack. All meals are included in the cost of tuition.
If your child has a special nutritional need, a food allergy, or requires adaptation to our menu, please alert our school director, and we will partner with your family to create a suitable meal plan.

Yes! We welcome Child Care Assistance (CCAP), which often covers up to 100% of New Horizon Academy’s tuition for eligible families. Through this government aid program, families can access scholarships and financial support to make childcare tuition more affordable.

My favorite features of this school are the great room and the sensory room. They also offer a dedicated space for breastfeeding mothers. The abundance of toys ensures endless fun for the children, and the spacious group areas provide ideal settings for learning activities. The playground area is huge, giving children plenty of room to run and play. New Horizon Academy Crystal is a great place to enroll your children!

We love this center! The management and teachers are wonderful. We also love that this building has an indoor gym for the kids. We get so many pictures on the app throughout the day with fun activities. We would really recommended this place.
